2       Subscription Services and Tournament Participation

2.1    Description of Services

Tralent is an e-sport tournaments platform that organizes simulated trading tournaments, featuring various formats where traders compete in an environment utilizing real market data to simulate trading operations. Participants can enter these tournaments by paying an entry fee, which contributes to the total prize pool after deducting Tralent's commission on each entry fee. The only risk for traders is the initial entry fee, allowing them to experience realistic trading conditions without exposure to actual market losses.

Our Trading Tournaments are designed to bring together traders of all experience levels. You will compete in live trading competitions that challenge your skills, creativity, and strategy. As an e-sport platform, Tralent fosters a competitive and engaging environment, where trading competitions are treated with the same spirit as traditional e-sports tournaments, promoting growth, learning, and continuous improvement for all participants.

The platform offers trading tournaments that are simulated and divided by financial markets (Forex, US Stock, and Crypto) and tournament duration.

2.1.1    Free Tournaments

Free tournaments are distinctly separated from real-money tournaments within a dedicated section in the platform. No entry fees are required, and there are no monetary prizes associated with these tournaments, in contrast to real-money competitions.
Free tournaments are generated hourly for the Forex market, and participants can register for tournaments occurring within the next 10 hours. Participation in Free tournaments does not contribute to any scoring for the Talent Score (see subsection 3.6.2).
Tralent provides this feature as a training tool, designed to help users learn how to navigate and utilize the platform effectively.

2.1.2    Participation Fees

Registration on the platform is free, but in order to participate in tournaments, the User must pay an entry fee. The fees vary based on the type of market and tournament duration:

2.1.5    Freedom to Create Tournaments

Tralent reserves the full freedom to create tournaments of any kind, defining their duration, participation fees, and relevant markets without any limitations.

2.1.6    Financial assets available for simulated trading

The list of assets on which simulated operations can be carried out within Tralent is available at the following link, divided by the relevant market. https://tralent.com/tournaments/

2.2    Acceptance of Terms

By registering on the platform via the Join button, users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and fully accepted the platform’s Terms and Conditions, including those related to the participation, creation, and management of tournaments defined by Tralent. It is the sole responsibility of the user to carefully review these terms before proceeding with the registration.

2.3    Prize Pool Distribution

The prize pool is comprised of the total entry fees from all participants, minus a 17% fee retained by Tralent. It is then distributed at the end of the tournament, based on the ranking position achieved by each participant, according to the table format on this page: https://tralent.com/trading-tournaments-prize-distribution/

3       How the platform works

3.1    Platform sections

The operational platform is divided into the following sections:

  • Watchlist: Displays the list of all available financial instruments.
  • Charts: Shows the chart for the selected financial instrument.
  • Order Mask: A section dedicated to placing market, pending, take profit, and stop loss orders.
  • My Orders: A summary section showing active, pending, and closed orders.
  • Ranking: Displays the current tournament leaderboard.

Users can view all available financial instruments in the “Watchlist” section. Clicking on an instrument will open the corresponding Chart.

Trades can be placed via the Order Mask, where users can set take profit and stop loss levels and choose between market or pending orders.

3.1.1    Watchlist

This section shows the complete list of financial instruments available for simulated trading. Under the “Symbol” column, the instrument’s name is shown, and the “Bid” and “Ask” columns display the real-time prices.

3.1.2    Charts

This section displays charts for the selected financial instrument from the watchlist. Users can customize the chart display to suit their preferences.

3.1.3    Order Mask

After selecting a financial instrument from the watchlist, the platform will automatically open the corresponding chart. By default, the standard Order Mask for placing market orders is displayed. Users can also set stop loss and take profit levels and adjust the desired quantity. Users can switch to pending orders (e.g., Buy Limit, Sell Limit, Buy Stop, and Sell Stop) by toggling the top-right button.

3.1.4    My Orders

This section shows all trade details and is divided into the following tabs:

  • Active: Displays all ongoing trades, showing “Open at,” “Open Mode,” “Symbol,” “Current Price,” “Quantity,” “Open Price,” “Take Profit,” “Stop Loss,” and “Profit.”
  • Pending: Displays all pending orders yet to be executed.
  • Closed: Displays all manually closed positions or those closed due to take profit or stop loss triggers. Users can close or modify orders directly from this section.

3.1.5    Ranking and Prize Pool Distribution

This section shows the real-time ranking of the ongoing tournament. Updates occur in real time, automatically adjusting participants' positions and the associated prize pool.

3.2    Order Types

Orders can be categorized into:

  • Market Orders: LONG (BUY) and SHORT (SELL). BUY orders are executed at the Ask price and closed at the Bid price, while SELL orders are executed at the Bid price and closed at the Ask price.
  • Pending Orders: Includes Buy Limit, Sell Limit, Buy Stop, and Sell Stop orders. These pending orders follow the same logic as regular BUY and SELL orders in terms of execution and take profit/stop loss.
  • Stop Loss Order: This tool limits potential losses by triggering a trade once a predefined price level is reached.
  • Take Profit Order: This tool locks in profits by triggering a trade when a predefined price level is reached.

3.3    Execution Rules (Best Execution)

Best execution ensures that simulate orders are executed under the best possible conditions, considering price, cost, speed, and execution probability. All orders placed on the Tralent platform are executed at the first available best price.

3.4    Trades: Profit and Loss Calculation

The formula for determining the percentage of Profit and Loss (P&L) for individual trades is as follows:

  • BUY: ((Current Price / Open Price) - 1) * 100 * Quantity
  • SELL: (((Current Price / Open Price) - 1) * -1) * 100 * Quantity

3.5    Quantity (QTY)

The platform provides the “Quantity” variable, which is the maximum number of trades each trader can hold open simultaneously within a tournament.

All participants in a given tournament have the same number of Quantities available.

The Quantity variable ensures that all participants in a tournament compete on the same level and with the same probability of winning.

At the operational level, the user can also use the Quantity variable to leverage trades, as it acts as a multiplier applied to the Profit/Loss formula (see subsection 3.4).

A minimum quantity of 1 is mandatory for each trade. At the start of each tournament, all participants are given the same balance of available quantities.

These quantities can be used to open one or more trades with different weights, allowing for risk management based on strategy. The Quantity amount used is returned once a trade is closed and is reusable.

Quantities are assigned as follows:

  • H1 and H4 Tournaments: Max 10
  • D1 and W1 Tournaments: Max 20

3.6    Ranking

The total P&L%, calculated as the sum of all individual trades, determines the user's position in the leaderboard. In each tournament, the leaderboard is always active and updates every 10 seconds.

The user may view, in real time, by clicking on the usernames in the leaderboard, all ongoing and closed trades of other participating traders

3.6.1    Ranking - Special Cases

For ranking purposes, a competitor who does not make any trades and records a 0% Profit/Loss (P/L) is still considered an active user.

In the event of a tie in performance between two or more competitors, the prize for the ranking position reached will be pooled and evenly divided among the tied competitors.

  • Example 1: If 1st and 2nd place achieve the same percentage, the prize pool for 1st and 2nd place will be added together and divided by 2.
  • Example 2: If the tournament rewards up to 10th place but ranks 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th all achieve the same %, the prize pool for 9th and 10th places will be combined and divided by 4.

3.6.2    Global Ranking - Tralent Score (T-Score)

In each tournament, participants are awarded points based on their ranking at the end of the tournament. These points accumulate over time to form each user's Tralent Score or T-Score. The total number of points for a tournament is determined by the number of participants, where each participant equals 1 point. For example, if there are 100 participants, the total points available for that tournament will be 100. At the end of the tournament, the total points will be distributed among the participants according to the same percentage distribution used for the prize pool (see subsection 2.3). The type of tournament or the entry fee does not affect the point distribution.

  • Example: 10 participants = 10 points

If there is a tie among the top 3 participants, points will be distributed as follows:

  • 1st place = 50% -> TRALENT SCORE = 50% of 10 points = 5
  • 2nd place =30% -> TRALENT SCORE = 30% of 10 points = 3
  • 3rd place = 20% -> TRALENT SCORE = 20% of 10 points = 2

The same rule for handling ties also applies to the distribution of Tralent Score points.

3.7    Statistics and Performance Indicators

3.7.1    Access to Statistics

The user can access statistics related to their performance in various trading tournaments they have participated in through their personal dashboard. Please note that Free Tournaments do not contribute to the statistics.

3.7.2    Accuracy of Statistics

Each wallet is assigned to the user after successful registration and verification. There are no recurring subscription costs, but the deposited funds are required to participate in the tournaments. A platform service charge of 17% will be applied to the tournament participation fees.

4.2    Billing Cycle:
